Love showing folks around? Here’s the opportunity for you! We’re looking for two to four (or more!) volunteers to welcome our guests and help direct them to registration, show them where they can check their coats, and guide them into the gala at the Portland Doubletree.
Volunteers for this role must be prepared to start at 4 pm on Saturday, March 23. Greeters can expect to be completed around 7 pm and may be able to watch the competition.

We’re looking for four or more volunteers to assist in getting our amazing auction items, supplies & materials loaded and delivered to the Doubletree Hotel the afternoon of the event. A few hands will help us get things rolling quickly and get us started off for an excellent event.
Once at the hotel, we’ll need assistance setting up displays for the auction packages as well as other event set-up.
This volunteer shift will be from approximately 12 noon – 4 pm on Saturday, March 23.

Love selling? We’re looking for you! We’re collecting a bounty of amazing raffle prizes and we need four (or more!) volunteers to get guests excited about the prizes and to sell raffle tickets. Don’t be shy! We’re looking for personable and assertive volunteers who aren’t afraid to interrupt conversations, move through the room, and build excitement for the prizes.
Volunteers for this role must be prepared to start at 4 pm on Saturday, March 23. Raffle ticket volunteers can expect to be completed around 7 pm and should be able to watch the competition.

For our registration tables, we’re looking for 6-8 (or more!) volunteers to welcome and check in our guests. For this important role, volunteers who are naturals at customer service and are quick on their feet will be especially appreciated. In addition to greeting our guests, you’ll be retrieving payment information for their auction and raffle purchases (and checking them out at the end of the evening) and providing them with their table assignment and bid numbers.
In addition to the direct customer service at the registration table, we will need 2-3 volunteers standing nearby to pull guest packets at check-in and check-out.
Volunteers for these roles must be prepared to start at 4 pm on Saturday, March 23. To give our guests a seamless experience, we request that registration volunteers plan to also stay for check out at approximately 10:00 – 10:30 p.m. Volunteers will have a break during the program to join our gala guests for dinner; registration volunteers should be able to watch at least some of the competition.

Lights! Camera! Volunteer! Prior to and during the program, we will need 1-2 sharp volunteers to ensure our honored guests, dancing competitors and presenters are prepared and ready. These volunteers will also be point people for our audio-visual crew, ensuring everyone is in sync.
Volunteers for this role must be prepared to start at 4 pm on Saturday, March 23. We request that stage assistant volunteers plan to also stay through check out at approximately 10:00 – 10:30 p.m. Please note: the stage assistant volunteers will be needed during the program and may not be able to watch the competition.

During the raffle and auction, we will need 2-4 event runner volunteers to return raffle tracking and bid sheets to our registration volunteers. The runner volunteers may also be needed during the program to ensure everything gets where its needed for the program to run smoothly.
Volunteers for this role must be prepared to start at 4 pm on Saturday, March 23. We request that registration volunteers plan to also stay through check out at approximately 10:00 – 10:30 p.m. The Event Runner Volunteers will be needed during the program but should be able to watch at least part of the competition and will be able to join the gala guests for dinner.

We’re looking for 4-10 volunteers (or more!) to help us close up shop at the end of the evening. As many hands as possible will help ensure we’re cleaned up quickly!
Volunteers for this shift may be able to watch the program, but should plan to report for their shift no later than 7:00 p.m. on March 23. Tear down volunteers should plan to work until clean up is complete, hopefully around 11:00 p.m.
